Sometimes, I have to remember who I'm asking when I ask for advice on gift ideas. Most people give me fantastic ideas. And then there are those who give great ideas...but I'm not the right person to receive them.
Me: What do you think would be a good gift idea for a housewarming?
Friend: How about some hoyo de monterrey cigars?
Me: Pardon me? Hoyo de what?
Friend: Cigars...!
I'm thinking whatever! None of my friends smoke so why in the world did my friend come up with this idea? Ok, I'm some other person would have thought that was perfect. Yeah, time to ask another friend for some ideas.....
