My husband and I were totally into the reality show The Colony on the Discovery Channel. That is one intense show. And part of me thinks that if there really is a nuclear explosion or some type of major devestation, we would all be living this way.
What's amazing is how creative these people are. How they can turn metal buildings into complete shelters, or use carcasses for bio fuel, or make their own windmills out of junk. But for 40 days, these people fought off hunger and intruders, made a family, lived off of nothing. But like I said...really intense reality show.
There is no way I'd be trying out for the show. I'd be dead within a day!
